We build the version that proves it

The cost of getting from an idea to something deployed has fallen a long way, and most people are still budgeting as though it has not. We build the working version, cheaply enough that finding out is no longer the expensive part.

What that actually means

  • Something people can use, not a deck

A funding conversation changes when the person across the table can click through the product rather than imagine it. The same is true of a first customer.

  • Built for what it costs to run

Hosting and deployment are designed in from the start, not discovered afterwards. Software that is expensive to keep online is software you will end up switching off.

  • A route to revenue, not a throwaway

If it works, it should be able to take payment and carry real users without being rebuilt from the ground up.

What we have actually built

Real software, not a portfolio of concepts. These three are worth a look first.

Inherit Vault

An encrypted vault for the financial and personal information a family needs after a death, released to named people once the death has been verified. Built here end to end, and now trading as a business under its own name.

Care home communications

A communication and compliance tool for UK residential care homes, built to the NHS England Accessible Information Standard. Every resident has a profile describing how they need to be communicated with, and it reaches carers on a handset that keeps working with no signal.

Level Up

A learning app for school-age children. Six subjects, multiple choice throughout, marked instantly, with a dashboard that surfaces the topics someone is getting wrong rather than a single score. Runs on a small server for very little.

How it starts

01

Tell us what you are trying to prove

Not a full specification. The thing you actually need to find out, whether that is investor interest, whether users want it, or whether the process works at all.

02

We build the smallest version that proves it

Narrow on purpose. One kind of user, one job, done properly, so when something does not work you can tell what was wrong.

03

You use it for real, then decide

Extend it, hand it to someone else to take further, or stop. Either answer is useful, and you will have spent far less finding it than a full build would have cost.

Who this is for

  • Founders validating an idea before raising
  • Owner-managed businesses replacing something too expensive to buy off the shelf
  • Anyone who has had a quote for an idea and quietly dropped it

Tell us what you are trying to prove

Describe the problem, not the specification. We will tell you honestly whether this is a good fit.
