Software product development
Libero Development
The cost of getting from an idea to something deployed has fallen a long way, and most people are still budgeting as though it has not. That gap is the opportunity. It changes what is worth finding out, and it changes how much you need to raise before you have something real to put in front of someone.
What it does
Something people can use, not a deck
A funding conversation changes when the person across the table can click through the product rather than imagine it. The same is true of a first customer.
Built for what it costs to run
Hosting and deployment are designed in from the start, not discovered afterwards. Software that is expensive to keep online is software you will end up switching off.
A route to revenue, not a throwaway
If it works, it should be able to take payment and carry real users without being rebuilt from the ground up.
Ideas that would not have got a look in
Plenty of good ideas never got built because the cost of finding out was the barrier rather than the idea. That is much less true than it was, and it is the whole point of working this way.
Where it works
What it has built
A portfolio rather than a highlight reel. Some of these are running, some taught us something and stopped. Both are worth showing.
Running
Level Up
A learning app for school-age children. Six subjects, multiple choice throughout, marked instantly, with a dashboard that surfaces the topics someone is actually getting wrong rather than a single score. Runs on a small server for very little.
Gridflow Trading
A grid trading tool for crypto markets. A grid strategy works a ladder of orders across a price range, and most of the work here went into how it behaves when a market is falling: keeping individual losses small so it is still in position when the market ranges or turns.
Etsy Skool Community
A community engagement tool. It flags new posts, drafts the reply and hands it back to be edited or confirmed rather than posting anything by itself, and it runs from Telegram or Discord, so keeping a community alive does not mean sitting in a browser tab all day.
